Hello, and welcome to the TablesReady Newscast! I’m your host, Walter Sco...  Oh? One moment, please, I’m getting a message from my producer… Okay, yes, I just received word that this is a newsletter, not a news show. So, with that in mind, welcome to the first ever TablesReady newsletter!

Now that we’re all on the same page (pun intended), let’s dive in to some delicious updates, highlights, and yes...  the occasional pun.

Product Updates

We’ve been hard at work to keep TablesReady working hard for you! Here’s what’s new.

Serving Tracking
Keep an eye on your current operation by tracking who you’re currently serving. With our new Serving Tracking feature, now all your walk-ins and tables (or other resources) can be accounted for and you can get a real-time view of your operation: Learn More!

Waitlist Cap

Know that you can’t serve more than 1,000,000 people in a day? (Or a more reasonable number, like 50?) Check out our new Waitlist Cap in the Settings > Waitlist Options section and avoid turning away disappointed guests. Learn more.

Plus:

  • Limit how far in advance someone can schedule with the Appointment Limiter feature.
  • Notifications got an upgrade! We’ve added {resource} and {service} dynamic fields.

Customer Spotlight

Bub's Burgers
New Orleans, LA

Meet Bub’s Burgers, a New Orleans-based pop-up slinging burgers and fries at breweries and bars across the city. Started by five friends, they’re only now coming up on their first birthday — and they’ve already been voted a top 10 Pop Up Restaurant in New Orleans and Top 3 Spot to Grab a Bite.

They’ve been using TablesReady as a part of their operation since November of 2020, serving hundreds of hungry customers a night. Instead of screaming names through a sea of humans and noise, the Bub's team uses our Square integration to take orders and notify guests when their food is ready. Co-owner Josh says, "TablesReady definitely helps with keeping things efficient!"

What’s next for Bub’s? These 5 friends are going from a pop-up to a place you can pop-in! Bub’s will be opening a permanent location at Banks Street Bar later this year. Give them a visit if you find yourself in New Orleans!
